A neighbourhood workshop that works like a big one
TL Motorsport is on the Avinguda d'Elx in Alcoi. Luis runs the workshop with a settled team and a fairly simple idea of how a customer should be treated.
Most people who walk in for the first time were sent by somebody. Almost never by an advert. That shapes how you work: if a customer came because a neighbour said things are done properly here, they cannot leave feeling they were sold a repair they did not need.
So the order is always the same. Find the fault, ring the customer, explain what is wrong and what it costs, and wait for an answer. If it turns out nothing was broken, the inspection is not invoiced. And if a repair is not worth it given what the car is worth, we say that too, even when it means losing the job.
The workshop covers mechanical and electrical work on every make, plus classic vehicle restoration, which runs at a different pace entirely. What we do not do is performance tuning, however much the name suggests otherwise.

Anyone can replace a part. Knowing which part to replace is where the craft is, and where the real money is saved.
The quote is the quote
The price we give you on the phone is the price on the invoice. If something else turns up along the way, we ring again before carrying on.
Saying no is also a service
Some repairs are not worth doing and some cars belong with a particular specialist. We say so, even when it does not suit us.
