Breakdown on the road
Your car has stopped and you are not from here
Alcoi sits between Alicante and Valencia, just off the A-7. Every season somebody pulls in halfway through a journey, in a hurry and knowing nobody in town. We know how that goes.
What to do right now
If you are on the motorway, get off the carriageway and put your hi-vis vest on before anything else.
Call us and tell us what happened: a noise, smoke, a warning light, the temperature gauge, or simply that it will not start.
We will tell you whether you can drive it to the workshop or whether you should call for a tow.
If your insurance includes roadside assistance, let us know and we will arrange the drop-off with the recovery truck.
We are open Monday to Friday, mornings only. Outside those hours there is nobody at the workshop, so please ring before you make the detour.
What we do differently for a breakdown in transit
You go ahead of scheduled servicing. Someone local can come back tomorrow; you cannot.
First we tell you whether the car can carry on or not. That answer matters more to you than a quote does.
If the repair is not worth doing here, we will say so and advise you on what to do at your destination.
We can help you in Spanish, English, Dutch and German.
What we will not tell you
We are not going to inflate the fault because you are a long way from home and will not be back. There are reviews on Google from people passing through who paid nothing, because there was nothing to repair. We would rather you remember the workshop than overpay once.
